Gold Man

The kind of bottle you pass down. It shifts character between the first hour and the fourth. It answered a question I did not know I was asking.

This replaced two older favourites in my rotation. Powdery in the best sense, like clean skin after perfume.

I have stopped guessing; this is my default. The blend is seamless; no single note elbows its way forward. It earns its place among the greats.

There is a particular hour in the evening when this comes alive. It is distinct without being difficult. I keep returning to it after trying flashier things.
