Better than its reputation
It opens brighter than I expected. It smells most expensive in the final hours. The base is where it earns its keep.

Use
Apply to pulse points — wrists, the sides of the neck, behind the ears. One to two sprays are ample; let the composition settle before judging it.
Care & safety
Store the flacon upright, away from direct sunlight and heat, in its original box. Never decant or dilute; keep away from the eyes and out of reach of children.

My most-reached-for
Green and serious, like a private garden after rain. It sits beautifully on cashmere.

Not for the timid
I hesitated at the price and would hesitate again, and still I am glad. The Mandarin reads natural, not synthetic. The Mandarin gives it a live, almost green quality.

The drydown earns the price
It feels composed rather than loud. The transition from top to base is flawless. I ration it so it lasts.
